Mass/Communion Schedule: |
Pastoral Council “Developing Leaders for Christ”The Pastoral Council, which includes the Pastor and our Deacons, consists of
representatives from the seven mission areas: leadership, worship and liturgy,
community, formation, evangelization, social outreach and stewardship. The
Pastoral Council helps the Pastor build the Parish and promote the Parish
mission. The Council is an advisory body of leaders.
Ministry Life Leadership Teams “Implementing the Strategic Plan”The seven Ministry Life Leadership Teams consist of a Pastoral Council member
from each of the seven mission areas and an assistant leader from the Strategic
Planning Committee. Together, these team leaders implement and monitor progress
on the Strategic Plan, which was developed by the Strategic Planning Committee
from the 2006-2007 Parish Survey. Each Leadership Team is responsible for the
ministries in its area and oversees the activities and needs of these
ministries.
Finance Council “Serving as Good Stewards of Parish Resources”The Finance Council’s responsibility is overseeing stewardship of treasure,
physical plant, and financial policies. They accomplish this by recommending and
monitoring budgetary information, assessing short and long term financial needs,
supervising Parish monetary payments, internal controls and business policies.
Their recommendations are made to the Pastor and Pastoral Council.
Strategic Planning Committee “Pursuing a Vision of Parish Service”The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) completed a Strategic Plan to
meets the needs and wants of the Parish on a long-term basis. The focus was on
the needs for the next five years. Completion of the strategic plan represents a
solid foundation for preparation of the annual plan, the first step toward
achievement of the long-term vision.
Preventative Maintenance Advisory Team “Maintaining Facility Excellence”This team (P.M.A.T.) was formed to advise or help to complete required or
worthwhile maintenance functions and needs of Parish facilities.
P.M.A.T.'s venue includes the buildings, grounds and equipment of St. Joan of
Arc on an on-going basis.
Youth Advisory Council “Providing Our Youth a Solid Foundation”The Youth Advisory Committee is guided by the principles of Most Rev. Charles J.
Chaput, who states: “Youth ministry is not ‘optional,’ something to do, or not,
as we choose. It is an indispensable investment in the future – the future of
young people themselves and also the future of the world and the Church.” |
